Our Friends & Clients who have now Crossed the Rainbow Bridge
We include this page as a loving tribute to honour our beautiful gentle client friends and family who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Our sincerest sympathy to their owners who love and miss them so much
Whenever a pet passes, it is important to honour the grieving process. The loss of a pet can release pent-up pain and distress otherwise kept contained, such as the loss of a job or significant other. Animals, even in their passing help us by assisting in the expression and release of emotion and guilt. The unconditional love we learn from animals is a tangible healing tool that can help us gain acceptance and make their transitional time a little easier
Fred Sept 11, 2010 missed sadly by Jan Clare and all your furry friends.
"I know he didn't want to leave me, but I told him I'd be okay and that all of the Angels were there to help and all of the Clare pets. He is now free to play and romp with all of his friends. A special thanks to Dr. Danny Mudrick who has always been there for me over the last 21 years who helped today as Freddy was having a hard time going on his own and his quality of life just wasn't there anymore. Thanks to Kathi Elliott who validated it was time to go, JD for coming and giving us both much needed Reiki last week, Lauren Bode and the wonderful girls from Gifts for the Soul - Sandra and Terry who welcomed him into our Animal Reiki class. Sue Becker who let me bring him to our TellingtonTouch class and Iris who helped clean up after his little accident with grace. Thanks also to everyone who loved him so much. Don't forget to hug your pets every day, tell them you love them and that you're coming back home." Jan
Angel Sept 12, 2010 always missed by Sam and Lori
"He was a wonderful gift to us and definitely lived up to his name 'Angel' ... He looked at me that first time with such startled recognition, as though he already knew me and had been waiting for me to arrive to take him home. We were honoured and blessed that he chose us as his family ... Such a conscious and aware kitten who was so very thoughtful and loving of all around him, quick to make friends with the lonely, a happy jokester doing everything he could to make you laugh ... falling in the toilet, playing ninja cat, using the garbage can as a hamster wheel. He made us feel very loved and very important to him. He was always posing for funny pictures ... We call this one 'Pasta Cataloni' " Lori
Squirty Oct 1, 2010 sadly missed by Jan Clare and all your furry friends
"When I went to see Squirt he was the last kitten left and had been sleeping in a big wing chair facing the other way. The gal went over and picked him up and put him on the floor so I could see him. I took one look at him and said "Oh, look at you, you little squirt." and that's how he got his name. He passed away in my arms on Saturday evening. If there's such a thing I think he died of a broken heart as he'd lost Holly, Zena, Prince and Fred all in the last short time. He went down very quickly in the last month. Now he's together with all of his pals again. Once again, I'm honoured that Squirt gave me such a loving home for the last 18 years. I was thrilled to be his Mom." Jan

Sadie March 5, 2012 loved and missed by Jan and your furry family
"Sadie passed away this morning at home with me here at the tender age of 15 1/2. I'd moved my bed down to the living room as both she and Harry were unable to make it up the stairs anymore. Last night I lay on the floor holding her for the longest time. I put a blanket over both of us so she wouldn't be cold. Her head was on my arm and I was patting her gently telling her Mom and Dad and all of our pets were waiting for her and would help her cross the Rainbow Bridge if that's what she needed to do. I asked her to give me a sign that she'd been happy she came here and if I'd given her a good home and all the love she needed. She raised her head and gave me a little gentle kiss on the cheek.
One of my little kitties took one of their green cat toys and dropped it at Sadie's paws this morning so I guess Harry, Jack and I won't be the only ones who will miss Sadie. Tell your pets every time you go out that you're coming back and give them hugs and tell them you love them every day." Jan
